Seeing in color after see ing a world of white and black,
The world is limitless, I only have hours before I'm back
I am the earth, I am the dirt, I walk the creases in my skin,
I flow with the water, float through the night- a demon consuming the body I'm in
I sense no danger, my emotions escape on an amusement ride,
My body is awake and exposed, I feel no insecurity to hide
I laugh, I cry, I scream and feel no pain,
I close my eyes to see the rainbow, my thoughts will never be the same
Creatures of the night whisper and snicker in my ear,
Eyes the size of marbles- I scream because I'm the one I fear.
